October was a traumatizing month for Jews and Israelis across the world. With the attack of the terrorist organization Hamas to Israel, thousands of Israeli soldiers and civilians were murdered. Innocent civilians were kidnapped out of their homes and are currently (as of October 2023) being held hostage.
Due to this horrendous attack, a series of antisemitic behaviors have began to occur. It is a reasonable and factual assumption to make that a Jewish person with access to social media has most likely witnessed acts of antisemitism. Remember, if you see antisemitic comments or posts try not to interact by responding. Sometimes, the best solution is to report and block the users.
During the month of October, the Central West Region had multiple events, meetings, and the spread of fundraisers to talk about and advocate against these acts of pure evil.
