Our History:
In 2005, Rachel Kirk (the Regional Sh’licha at the time) and Moaz Friedman (the Regional Mazkirah/Gizbarit at the time) were assigned to start an AZA and BBG chapter in Palo Alto. Rachel Kirk contacted Ellen Holtzman, and together they built up our chapter. The first official board was in Winter 2005 and the first graduating class consisted of Alexandra Rubinov and Ellen Holtzman in 2006.

Chapter Name: El Al BBG #1863
Chapter Colors: Pink and Black
Chapter Mascot: Stewey the frog (Alfred is the original & official name of our mascot though)
Chapter Food: Hummus and Pita Chips
Chapter Snack: Pretzels and Frosting
CRW BBG Mascot: Simon the Cow
Brother Chapter: Simon Wiesenthal (Siwi) AZA
Sister Chapters: Josephine Esther Mentzer (JEM) BBG & Chai BBG
